This agreement was negotiated nearly 10 years ago and needs to be updated to reflect changes in the industrial landscape and catch up with other disability and municipal services agreements, which include things such as family leave and domestic violence. The disability services sector needs highly qualified and professional support staff to provide the best possible support to people with disabilities. HACSU is confident that fair remuneration and conditions for workers will attract and retain these workers. Today, HACSU proudly represents the disability care workers and administrators who make a daily change in the lives of people with disabilities. HACSU members work in public, private and associative services and come from a number of professions. .
